The Citi Thank You card offers a fairly robust rewards program as well as a strong introductory APR for either new purchases or balance transfers.

Check out the details below to see if it’s a good fit for you.

Citi Thank You Card Account Basics

This credit card from Citi comes with pretty robust introductory rates.

After opening your account, you’ll receive a 0% introductory APR.

Alternatively, you could receive a 0% balance transfer for the first 15 months.

There is a fee you’ll need to pay in order to take advantage of this perk: the greater of $5 or 3% of each balance transfer.

After the introductory period is over, the card switches to a variable APR of anywhere between 14.99% and 24.99%, based on your credit score and other factors.

Still, if you can pay off your existing debt within that 15-month timeframe, you could benefit from serious savings in interest.

Plus, there’s no annual fee so it doesn’t cost you anything to keep this card in your wallet.

Another interesting feature from this card is the Citi Price Rewind.

It searches through your registered purchases to see if there’s a better price listed somewhere online.

If the search finds something within 60 days of the purchase date, you could receive the difference in price.

Rewards Program

The card offers two categories for accumulating rewards points.

The first is for dining and entertainment, for which you’ll earn two points for every dollar spent on related purchases.

Eligible spending includes restaurants, movie theaters, music and video downloads, concerts, and more.

Every other purchase you make with your credit card earns one point for each dollar you spend.

Think clothes, gas, groceries, and anything else you charge.

A major perk with this particular rewards program vs similar ones is that there’s no limit on how many points you can accumulate and no expiration date for using them.

You can redeem your points for a wide range of gift cards, merchandise, travel rewards, or even use them directly through your Amazon checkout.

Account Limitations

While this credit card certainly comes with some nice perks, you’ll need above average credit to qualify.

Also, know that your balance transfer maximum is dependent upon your credit limit.

Whatever portion you use for your balance transfer can’t be used for new purchases until you’ve paid it off.

Also note that there’s a 3% foreign transaction.

If you travel out of the country frequently, this may not be the best card for you.

With no annual fee and some great introductory rate offers, the Citi Thank You card comes with a lot of strengths — if you can qualify.

It’s particularly attractive for people who frequently wine and dine, whether you enjoy live concerts, dining out, or even in-home entertainment.

Consider applying for this card if you could easily take advantage of this hip rewards program, or even that 0% APR for balance transfers.
